seed machine, interactive installation
micro-resistances

Role: Set Designer & Animation Art

produced & directed by Marwa Arsanios

installation for documentary film
31 mins, 2019

Designed and built installations based on stories narrated by eco-feminists from Tolima in Columbia about their struggle for agricultural autonomy in face of the violence by transnational corporations, governments and paramilitaries.

After listening to interviews and stories, I worked on making an installation titled ‘seed machine’ which stages a faceted dialog between the relationship of land grabs by large corporations and its effects on the micro ecology of the soil.
